A valued member of the Slovenian National Team from the early age of 15 years old, Matej Centrih understands what it takes to play football at the highest level.
About Matej
Matej has spent more than a decade competing professionally against world-class opposition in Slovenia, Germany, Norway and Austria.
Following his relocation to Perth, Western Australia, Matej founded Matej Football Academy in 2020 alongside his life coaching endeavours.
His mission is to promote lifelong enjoyment of sports for all children and help them realise their full potential. He measures success not by his past football performances but by the happiness, confidence and positivity he instils in each of his junior athletes.
